I made this house tile way back in 2021 and only completed the piece in January of 2026. It was a nighttime scene from the start (lamp-lit yellow windows!), but I didn’t know how to tell the rest of the story until I found this odd decoupaged wooden box. The blackness of the fabric lining was the perfect deepest night.
